News, notes, cancellations, and maybe even some trivia. This is where you'll find announcements for all things RAD! Consider it our cyber-bulletin board. If you've visited us before and want to know what's changed, take a look here first.
(In the case of inclement, or impending inclement, weather, please check here for class cancellations BEFORE driving, or attempting to drive, to the Academy. Class cancellations will be posted on this page No Later Than 60 minutes prior to classes. Please note, depending on the conditions, we may NOT be able to get to the Academy to change the answering machine.)
What's new???
- In celebration of the 10th Anniversary here at RAD we will be having a Grand Re-Opening in August! Please check back for date and time.
- This Dance Year we are offering 3 new classes: Hip Hop, Pom Pom and Session Intermediate Yogilates! Interested? Check them out on the class schedule page (link below). HURRY, CLASS SPACE IS HIGHLY LIMITED!!!
- Please welcome this year to our Office Staff: Ms. Angie. You are all sure to enjoy her bubbly personality as much as her students do at school. Please also welcome back to our Office Staff: Ms. Pebbles - we've missed your smile in the office, glad you're back!
- This year's annual Dance Recital will be our 10th and consequently our Recital theme is "A Decade in REVUE"! We will only be selecting songs that we have previously used in our Recitals for this year's performances. Please email us your favorite song that we have used (and the Recital in which it was used) and maybe it will receive a place in this Recital as well! (If the song title isn't in the Recital program book please give us the routine name that is listed - i.e. "SharkTale" 2009.)
- This year we are also working on "Going Green". We will be directing everyone to our website or our news area in the Academy for information rather than having hard copies to hand out or mail out. We are hoping to expand our website and still keep it easy to navigate. Please feel free take notes off the website and then ask any questions you may have while you are in the office (or give us a call).
- PHOTOS, PHOTOS, PHOTOS! Photos are available for pick-up at the Academy during our July session of classes. Please stop in during office hours 5:00 - 7:30 and get yours. Also, please check out the Fund-raiser & Activities page for new photos from baton camp!
- Congratulations to Miss Danielle, Miss Morgan, Miss Abigail, Grace Harrison, Kassie Nulton & Miss Cassie... they made it through baton camp with flying colors & were out of this world!!! As far as Ms. Ronya, well... she survived. ("War stories" readily available from Ms. Jane & Ms. Angie - they survived too!)
- RECITAL T-SHIRTS: The few people that need to pick-up their Recital t-shirts should do so during the above-mentioned times as well. If you missed out on ordering your Recital t-shirt you now have another opportunity to do so. Please purchase your Recital t-shirt during the July session of classes, August session of classes or phone the Academy to make arrangements to do so. Shirts are $13 each with AXXL being $15 each. We MUST have a minimum order of twelve t-shirts to re-order them.
